Seriously (Part II).

I forgot to mention the most OBNOXIOUS aspect of the snow storms thus far: the never-ending local news coverage of the snow. Seriously. All day long, the only thing the local news has to offer is shots of reporters out in the snow talking about 1) how dangerous it is to drive in the snow, 2) how much snow there is, and 3) how people are stuck in their homes because of the snow. What the local news has failed to cover is what roads are actually open, is the post office delivering mail, are the stores open and do they have enough food? You know, useful information like that.

However, I think the obxnoxiousness of the local news coverage can be summed up with nbcwashington.com's coined term for the snow storm: "Snowtorious B.I.G." Yeah, seriously.
